Band Camp

The College Station Independent School District band programs encourage students in grades six through twelve to attend band camp each summer. We believe that band camp provides an outlet for our students to continue playing their instruments over the summer, and it allows them to receive unique instruction from prominent figures in the music profession.

Featured Texas Band Camps

West Texas A&M University Band Camp

Classes are available in jazz (by audition), rhythm reading, music theory, drum majoring, conducting, oboe and bassoon reed making, marching band, along with brass, woodwind, and percussion ensembles.

Baylor University Summer Music Camp

The Baylor University School of Music annual Middle School Band and Orchestra Camp offers one week of intense, yet fun-filled training in performance.

TCU Band Camp

TCU continues our Middle School Music Experience focusing on both ensemble and music enrichment in a fun camp setting for students entering 6th-8th grade who have at least one year of instrumental experience in a scholastic setting.

Stephen F. Austin University Band Camp

Each summer the SFA School of Music hosts several camps for students who want to improve their skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Texas Tech Band & Orchestra Camp

University of Texas Longhorn Music Camp

Since its beginnings in 1979, Longhorn Music Camp (LMC) has provided an opportunity for thousands of young musicians from across Texas and the nation to experience the outstanding level of instruction offered at the Butler School of Music.

The Junior High School Band Camp is a unique opportunity for young woodwind, brass, and percussion players to experience the band experience outside of their own school program.
